Erica Bower

Erica has always been fascinated by the weather. The 2008 hurricane season sealed the deal, and from that summer on she knew she wanted to be a meteorologist. As a junior at Western Connecticut State University, she is very involved in several aspects of campus life. She is a captain of the varsity softball team, the treasurer of the Honors Students of Compassion Club, and the co-president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee as well as a member of the Meteorology Club. Erica also works as a tutor and is graduating a year early. She plans to attend graduate school after leaving WestConn to pursue her ultimate goal of working for the National Hurricane Center.
