Stephen Puglisi

Ever since a tornado warning was issued for his hometown when he was two, Stephen has had a passion for weather. However, it was not until an early 2012 trip to the recently tornado-devastated city of Joplin, Missouri, that he became determined to be a meteorologist to help prevent such a significant tragedy from happening again. Stephen is most ‘dialed in’ to his forecasting when a significant storm is approaching his home in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Currently in his third year as a meteorology student at Western Connecticut State University, Stephen enjoys playing with his two dogs (a poodle and a golden retriever) and watching baseball.
