Tornadoes are common in both the warm and cool seasons and just about every corner of the country has fallen in or close to the path of one of these destructive storms over the years. Many factors come into play when evaluating environments that may be conducive to tornadoes. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, as favorable environments for tornadoes vary substantially, depending on the time of year and region of focus.
