Instructions<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Activate your First ID Card<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nCards that were issued remotely at residence halls or via mailings, will need to be activated in order to use the card services. When printed, the cards are marked as lost, to place the accounts on hold. For security purposes, the cardholder needs to log in to the secure website and activate the card, by following the steps outlined below.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Activation of a Found ID Card<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nCards that are reported as lost on the website may be reactivated by the cardholder when found. Note that only the most current card may be reactivated. If you have had multiple replacement cards, only the most recently printed card will be reactivated. If you are unsure about which card is the most recent card, please contact the WESTCONNect Office for assistance. Activating a card not in your possession may allow someone else to use your card without authorization.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. You must have an active university computer account<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students:<\/strong> First time and transfer students: Your computer account information was emailed to the email address you provided during the Admissions process. Current students<\/span>: use the email and password that you use for your email, Banner, Blackboard, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty\/Staff:<\/strong> New employees: Your computer account information was emailed to the email address you provided during the hiring process.\u00a0<\/span> Please check your personal email account and follow the instructions to set up your WCSU computer account.\u00a0 Current employees<\/span>: use the email and password that you use for your email, Banner, Blackboard, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Log in to the WESTCONNect WebCard Center<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to the WESTCONNect Web Card Center.<\/a> Use your university email and password to log in.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having issues logging in? Troubleshooting Tips:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

-Confirm you are using an updated browser<\/span><\/p>\n

-Use your full university email account (doej@wcsu.edu)<\/span><\/p>\n

-If you need to reset your university computer account password, please visit the IT&I Department website at: WCSU Windows account reset<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Activate Card\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nWeb Browser:<\/strong> From the left-hand menu choose \"Report Found Card\" and then Confirm<\/span><\/p>\n

Mobile Website:<\/strong> Choose \u201cFound Card\/Activate Card\u201d Icon and then Confirm<\/span><\/p>\n

Your card will be confirmed as activated and the option will now read Report Card Lost or Lost Card\/Deactivate Card<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
