National Day of Writing Workshops

Celebrate the National Day of Writing with the Writing Center!

Join the Western Connecticut State University Writing Center on Tuesday, October 20, for a day of creativity, exploration, and writing! In celebration of the National Day of Writing, we’re offering a series of workshops that invite students, faculty, and members of the campus community to explore writing across a variety of genres.

From horror, memoir, and fantasy to science fiction, scriptwriting, and poetry, these interactive workshops offer opportunities to experiment with new forms of expression, develop creative ideas, and connect with fellow writers. Whether you’re an experienced writer or simply curious about trying something new, there’s something for everyone!

Workshops run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Haas Library, Room 508. Space is limited, so be sure to register early!

Come celebrate the many ways we write, create, and share our stories!
