Licensure for Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Students who complete the M.S. in Addiction Studies program meet the educational requirements for licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Connecticut. Students should familiarize themselves with all of the requirements for licensure which includes supervision hours, 300 hours of internship, examination, and education (satisfied by this curriculum). States have different requirements so please consult with the licensing bureau of any state you expect to practice in the future.
