TIDDL (Technology & Instructional Design for Digital Learning)

CELT works closely with TIDDL to plan for effective technology and design support for WCSU faculty.  The TIDDL group is a cross campus working group formed to:

• Provide a vehicle to coordinate around activities related to technology, instructional design and media services for teaching and learning.
• Test, evaluate, and recommend high value/high quality/supportable technology tools that address teaching/learning challenges and further student learning and assessment of learning.
• Support faculty in the development and delivery of digitally enhanced face-to-face, hybrid and online courses and learning experiences.
• Members: Leslie Lindenauer, Elise Budnick, Scott Volpe, Becky Diot, Adam Brewer, Pauline Assenza, Bonnie Denmark and  Aura Lippincott

CELT’S Mission

The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) will be the focus for programs and services which will promote excellence in teaching and learning at Western Connecticut State University. To achieve this mission, the Center will both utilize and enhance faculty knowledge and skills, collaborate with other resources across the university, and draw upon regional and national resources.
