Digital Accessibility Compliance committee charged by the Provost to implement a plan for auditing, remediation, and reporting of Web accessibility, accessible technology, accessible instructional materials and information, and procurement practices. The DAC committee officially met on February 17, 2021, and continued to meet monthly to develop an implementation plan by August 2021. DAC committee will disseminate this plan to the university and publish it on Accessibility at WCSU.

Training: A series of Web accessibility and accessible instructional material trainings to be purchased or developed and planned university-wide and a training schedule for Fall 2021 to be established. 

A plan for ongoing training for accessibility will be established to include synchronous and asynchronous webinars and trainings. Training will be ongoing and reflect the current needs of University personnel on the accessibility of information and technology in order to comply with the current policies and procedures of the university and ensure consistent and effective compliance.

A log of trainings and events to be created to monitor required staff member’s completion/attendance.
