I'm writing to thank you for the time you spent with me during the interview for the internship position at the ABC Company. I'm excited about the potential opportunity to work with such an excellent company.

Furthermore, working in customer service in my part-time job has allowed me to meet and collaborate with many people, which I enjoyed. When You Follow-Up

  • Always call when you say you will. If you do not, they will assume you are not interested anymore.
  • If you call and they do not answer, leave a message with your phone number.
  • If you do not hear back, call again within two to three days (a week is also ok). If they do not answer, again, leave a message and your phone number.
  • After the second message, if they do not respond, take that as a sign that you did not get the job.
  • Once the hiring process is over, that is when it is safe to reach out on LinkedIn and request a connection. Connecting before then is too soon. Wait!!
  • It is always good to keep in touch in case something else comes up.
