Spotlight on: Bella DiMartino

Bella DiMartino graduated in only three years with her BA in Communication Studies. She is a former Honors Assistant, handling all social media and marketing for the Honors Program and HSOC. She was also the Editor in Chief for the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Perspective Magazine, teaching teams of editors the workings of Canva and graphic design. Bella also worked as a Teaching Assistant for HON100, a Peer Mentor, and a Certified Career Peer Leader and Marketing Strategist for the Career Success Center. She was President of WCSU’s Premier Co-Ed A Cappella group, Play It By Ear A Cappella, helping the group put together an album, now available on Soundcloud, during the COVID pandemic, and bringing in-person performances back to the group. She won the John Tamas Memorial Emerging Student Leader Award at the 2020 Virtual Student Leadership Banquet, and the Jesse Lewis Compassion Award at the 2022 Student Leadership Banquet. Bella gave speeches at the 2022 Honors Graduation and the 2022 School of Professional Studies and School of Arts and Sciences Commencement Ceremony. After graduating, Bella is going to participate in the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida.
