Scott graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Music Education.  He earned his Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration with a Student Affairs Concentration from Post University.  Scott has returned to WCSU with ten years of experience working in higher education.  He has served as a Residence Hall Director at Long Island University, Mitchell College, and the University of Hartford.  Scott also spent four years serving as the Director of Student Activities and Diversity Programs at Post University.

Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community / Students is his clear professional passion.

Jesenia Minier, MPA

Jesenia is a native of New York City and upon her arrival in July 2017 she began advocating for a space to support and provide service delivery to the LGBTQ+ community at WCSU.  Jesenia graduated from City College/CUNY in 1999 with a B.A. in Psychology, minor in Sociology  She then earned her Masters of Public Affairs and Administration degree from the Metropolitan College of New York in 2006 and is currently in the process of completing her Doctorate in Public Administration with Capella University.  Jesenia has had a culmination of fifteen years of experience working in various state and city municipalities in New York City and Connecticut and has been working as a diversity professional in higher education for the past nine years.  Prior to WCSU, Jesenia served as the Chief Diversity Officer/Director for the Office of Affirmative Action, Diversity and Equity at Bronx Community College/CUNY.

Supporting various communities, including the LGBTQ+ community/students is her personal and professional passion.
