Online Collaboration and Video Conferencing

Objectives

After completing this module you should be familiar with just some of the features of Microsoft Teams, Blackboard Collaborate, and Cisco WebEx. In particular after reviewing the content below you will be able to:

utilize university resources that can contribute to your success,
navigate and communicate in Microsoft Teams, and
understand the three different video conferencing systems that they may encounter.

Timing & Prerequisites

This module should take about 15 to 30 minutes to complete depending on how many videos you watch. There are no particular prerequisites for this module, however it would be good to make sure you are setup properly with your WCSU username and password and have the Office 365 and WebEx software properly installed. Information on accounts and software are available on the Student Learning – IT Guide. You should complete this early so that you can focus on learning rather than struggling with the technology.
