Getting Started

Start Here:

Before you can complete most of the learning modules you will need to do some basic set up.  This should not take long and only needs to be done once.

• Get Connected:

You will need access to a decent internet connection and computer.  If you are having problems with either please contact the Information Technology and Innovation department at Tel: 203-837-8467 or Email: requestit@wcsu.edu.  The main page for IT&I is at https://www.wcsu.edu/iti/

• Access Your WCSU Network/Email Account:

• Setup Your Email:

  • Student Email Introduction
  • How do I setup email on my mobile device?
  • Email login

• Consider Installing Some Software:

  • Google Chrome
  • Installing Microsoft Office

• Look for a Little Training:

There are a lot of good resources out on the web, in addition to the modules we have put together for Navigating Your First Year,  you can find lots of resources on WCSU website like this guide: IT&I Remote Learning Guide, or videos like this one Microsoft 365 basics video training on the web.
