COMPUTER SCIENCE FACULTY AWARD: ELIOT GRIFFIN
This award supports the empowerment of women pursuing a career in the field of computing (a vital facet of the STEM industry) and awarded to a graduating undergraduate in Computer Science or Applied Computing. Awarded recipients are selected based on their outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership experiences, and significant contributions to student life and/or community service at Western Connecticut State University. Furthermore highlighting their aptitude, tenacity in the face of gender barriers to access, and aspirations in the field of computing.
WOHLEVER AWARD IN COMPUTER SCIENCE: MALIK ROC & MARK MASONE
This award, named in honor of Professor Emeritus James Wohlever, is presented to undergraduate computer science majors who demonstrate academic skill and genuine interest in the subject.
