2019 WCSU Graduate in Political Science

Leah Juliett named a 2020 L’Oreal of Paris Woman of Worth

Leah Juliett will receive $10,000 and is in the running to win $25,000 more for their nonprofit, March Against Revenge Porn. This digital advocacy nonprofit aims to eliminate revenge porn and image abuse. They work with legislators, protest marches, victim support services, and more. Leah's goals include legislative changes, open dialogue free of stigma, and internet safety, especially for LGBTQ+ youth.

Michael Ian Black Will Speak at MFA Winter Residency

WCSU’s MFA Program in Creative and Professional Writing is thrilled to announce that Michael Ian Black will be joining us at our virtual Winter Residency on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 7:30-9:00 PM.

Dr. Guzda Gave a Virtual Talk with the Danbury Library

On October 6, 2020 Dr. Jacqueline Guzda presented a talk on Disinformation & Fake News hosted by the Danbury Library. Joining Dr. Guzda was Kathleen Struck, Digital Managing Editor and Education Editor of Voice of America. Katherine Mostecero, reference librarian at the Library, moderated the event.
