Open House Registration Form (ended)

Thank you for your interest in Western Connecticut State University’s Fall Open House on Sunday, November 1st.  Event pre-registration has closed at this time, however we will be registering people onsite the day of Open House.  Please plan to arrive on our Westside Campus O’Neill Center between 10:00am and 10:15am.  We are excited about your interest in WCSU and are anticipating your arrival on our campus.  Please make note of some important items below.            

• Daylight savings time is OVER on October  31st 2009.  Please remember to set your clocks back 1 hour.  On-site registration for Open House begins at 10:00am on Sunday, November 1st.
• Open House starts on our Westside Campus.  For GPS/MapQuest/etc users, please use 44 Lake Avenue Ext. Danbury, CT 06811 as the address for WCSU.  This will ensure your arrival to our Westside campus.  We have also provided directions at the bottom.
• Campus tours will last approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour, so please bring your walking shoes.  Also, since you will be out walking around on campus for a good amount of time, you may want to bring a coat.  Currently the weather forecast says it will be Partly Cloudy with a chance of showers and low 50s for a high temp.

  10:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.	Welcome address
  10:30 a.m.	Westside and Midtown Campus Tours begin (last tour begins at 1:00pm)
  11:00am – 1:00pm	Comprehensive Science Building Tours (Every ½ Hour) – Midtown Campus
  11:00am – 1:45pm	Nursing Lab Tours – Midtown Campus
  11:00am – 1:45pm	Weather Center Tours – Midtown Campus
  10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.	Representatives from academic and administrative departments will be available to answer questions.
  2:00pm	Last Bus from Midtown to Westside Campus

• Directions to Campus:
  
  
  • From  I84E or I84W Take exit 4.
  • Turn Right on to Lake Avenue
  • Go approximately 1 mile to a stop light (Super Stop and Shop will be on your left)
  • Turn Right onto University Blvd.  Follow signs to University Open House/O’Neill Center.
