Graduate Studies Application for Admission

Some programs require additional application requirements, please see below for Ed.D. in NursingEd.D. in Instructional Leadership or MFA in Creative and Professional Writing

Application Deadlines

  1. Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis: Spring term – November 1st
  2. Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis: Spring term – November 1st
  3. Master of Science in Counselor Education Programs (School and Clinical Mental Health) is March 1st. Fall Admission Only.
  4. Master of Science in Education – Special Education: Fall Admission Only.
  5. Master of Science in Education – Literacy and Language Arts: Fall Admission Only.
  6. Master of Arts in Teaching: Fall Admission Only.
  7. Master of Science in Addiction Studies: Fall Admission Only.
  8. All other programs have rolling admission

All students must submit an application along with the $50.00 application fee and the appropriate materials pertaining to their program of interest. Once the Office of Graduate Admissions receives your application, you will receive an email within 48 hours indicating the items required for your application file. Please check to make sure the program you are applying to still accepting applications (see above).

Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership

This program is based on a cohort model that accepts students every other year (odd years). All students must submit an application along with the $100.00 evaluation fee and the appropriate materials pertaining to the program. Please note the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) requirement is waived for the 2020-2021 cohort.

Ed.D. in Nursing Education

This program is based on a cohort model that accepts students every other year (even years, fall 2020, 2022, 2024, etc.) All students must submit an application along with the $50.00 application fee and the appropriate materials pertaining to the program.

MFA in Creative and Professional Writing

Applicants to the MFA in Creative and Professional Writing must submit a writing sample, an application essay, and additional forms. The application is available here.
