WCSU Alumni Day Trips & Travel Program
Alumni can take advantage of wonderful travel opportunities and day trips while supporting their alma mater. Travel with a group of friends or book a more intimate reservation. The following trips are planned in 2013:
Lunch at the Culinary Institute of America

Join the WCSU Alumni Association for an afternoon of elegant dining at the Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, N.Y., where we will enjoy a four-course banquet at the brand new Bocuse Restaurant.
The price of $95/person includes round-trip transportation, lunch and gratuity. Transportation will depart the WCSU Midtown campus (University Hall) at 9 a.m. Arrival back in Danbury will be around 4 p.m.

Newport, Rhode Island

Join us as we tour the historical buildings and sites, beautiful coastline and the largest collection of colonial homes in the country. Our tour guide will share Newport's history and delight us with tales of this charming "city by the sea."
The price of $90 per person includes round-trip transportation, bus driver tip, tour guide, entry fee into Rough Point and taxes. Transportation will depart the WCSU Midtown campus (University Hall) at 7 a.m. Arrival back in Danbury is around 8 p.m. Parking is available in the University Hall parking lot and in the White Street parking garage.

Hudson Valley Boat Cruise, Lunch and West Point Tour

Join alumni, faculty, staff and friends for a day trip up the Hudson River, featuring a Pride of the Hudson two-hour cruise, lunch at the Thayer Hotel and tour a of West Point.
The price of $110/person includes round-trip transportation, boat cruise, lunch, tour, taxes and tips. Transportation will depart the WCSU Midtown campus (University Hall) at 8 a.m. We will depart West Point at around 4 p.m. Parking is available in the University Hall parking lot and in the White Street parking garage.

Alumni Family Day at Lake Compounce

Spend a fun-filled day with your family and fellow alumni at Lake Compounce in Bristol, Conn.
Cost is $38 per person (children 3 & under are admitted and eat for free). Price includes admission, parking, all-you-can-eat lunch buffet in the lakeside catering pavilion from 12 to 2:30 p.m., unlimited free soda all day throughout the park, unlimited use of rides, shows and attractions (except the Skycoaster), unlimited access to Splash Harbor, Connecticut's biggest water park.
To reserve your family's day of fun, complete the Lake Compounce Reservation Form or call (203) 837-8298. Limited tickets are available. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. No reservations can be taken after Friday, July 11, 2014.
Tarrytown, N.Y., and the Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Join WCSU alumni and friends for this fall trip to Tarrytown, N.Y. for a day of fun, festivities and haunted enchantments.
The price of $109/person includes bus transportation, tips, taxes, entry into Sunnyside, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze and dinner. The bus will depart WCSU's Midtown campus (University Hall) at 12:45 p.m. Arrival back in Danbury will be around 11 p.m.
