2011 WCSU students to stage ‘The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe’
DANBURY, CONN. — The Western Connecticut State University theatre arts department will present “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe” at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, and 8 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at the Reimold Theatre in Berkshire Hall on the university’s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. Admission will be free and the public is invited.
The show is a senior thesis project by theatre arts Samantha Tuozzolo, of Norwalk, and Lauren Sarnataro, of Waterbury. Tuozzolo will star in the show, while Sarnataro designed the set, lighting and sound.
The play is a one-woman stage show, written by Jane Wagner and originally performed by Lily Tomlin in a performance that won her a Tony Award in 1986.
