Pre-Podiatric
Podiatric schools vary in their prerequisites. It is important for students to determine the specific requirements for each podiatric school they wish to apply to, in consultation with a pre-health advisor. Most podiatric schools require the following courses:
- BIO103/BIO104 General Biology I & II
- CHE110/CHE111 General Chemistry I & II
- CHE210/CHE211 Organic Chemistry I & II
- PHY120/PHY121 General Physics I & II
- 1 year of college English (General Education)

The MCAT is required for most podiatric schools.
Grades:
Most schools require at least a 3.0 GPA to be considered. Competitive applicants typically have GPA’s of 3.3 or above.
