Denise Colaianni B.S. R.N., M.A. HPX Internship Coordinator.

Denise Colaianni began her career as a public health nurse with Visiting Nurse Service of New York. While at VNSNY Denise served as a nursing supervisor and then Assistant Director of Education. She then moved to Connecticut to fill the position of Clinical Director and Administrator of Visiting Nurse Service of Ridgefield.

She began her teaching career at Fairfield University as a Nursing Faculty member before moving to WCSU to teach in the Health Promotion and Exercise Sciences Department in 2001.

In the ensuing years she has taught many of the core courses in the department as well as helped develop and expand the internship program. Denise completed a B.S. in nursing at City College of New York and a M.A. in Nursing Education at New York University.
