The 2021-2022 Weather Team
Erich W. Ahlf is a current senior at WCSU. He has always had a fascination for the weather since he was young. Whenever a storm passed by his house, he would stare up at the tall trees and watch the wind blow them. He would also go to the pier along the Hudson River during windy and rainy days. Erich let the river water splash him, specifically during the remnants of the post-tropical storm Noel of 2007 which is where he had gotten his picture taken for the newspaper sitting on a rock holding a flimsy stick to blow in the wind. However, the most notable storm that piqued his interest and further cemented his interest to become a meteorologist was Superstorm Sandy of 2012. On his free time, he likes to ride his bike, hike, and play video games with his siblings and friends.
