Jack is fascinated by the power and variability the weather displays. From the age of four he would be found outside more than inside, especially when the weather would turn. Growing up in New England, Jack was always given a front row seat to blizzards, ice storms, severe thunderstorms and even hurricanes. Early in school he would share his thoughts about the possibility for snow days with his classmates, and loved playing the role of the weatherman. As he grew older, he was delighted to find one of the best meteorology schools in the area was only twenty minutes away in Danbury. At Western Connecticut State University, Jack continues his pursuit of a career in forecasting while maintaining his position as Meteorology Club president for the second consecutive year. After graduation, Jack will be pursuing a career in broadcasting meteorology, living out his childhood dream to the fullest.
