On-Campus Dining
Home-style suppers, grilled meats, veggie variations, or gimme-a-quick-fix pizza, the dining at WestConn suits your mood, your tastes, and even your budget. From falafel to fudge sundaes, we've got something yummy for you.
At the Student Restaurant, located in the Student Center at Midtown, the doors are open Monday through Thursday for breakfasts (regular or continental), lunch or light lunch, and dinner-- all during hours that fit your hectic schedule. Fridays, only dinner is served (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.); but on the weekends, the featured meals are continental breakfast, brunch, and dinner. The restaurant is a great place to meet friends for the comfort of shared bread-breaking, conversation, and the welcome opportunity to unwind.
The Food Court, also in the Student Center, is open every day but Saturday, and has specialties supplied by Subversions, Sky Ranch Grill, Pizzarena, and Jazzman's Cafe. Want to grab a fast burger between classes? Need a fresh-fruit pick-me-up? Duck into the Food Court and get re-energized!
Students at Westside appreciate the presence of the Westside Convenience Store, which makes it easy for them to get things like hot dogs, pizza or wraps, along with refreshing drinks, without having to go off-campus. If you darted off to Accounting 211 without breakfast, and got that stomach-rumble thing in class, you'll want to make a Convenience Store run just as soon as the books close. Fortunately, the soup's on and waiting!
WestConn's faculty can find a variety of cold and hot meals and snacks at the Danbury Room, formerly known as the Faculty Dining Room, on the first floor of the Student Center at Midtown. The ambiance is friendly, the atmosphere relaxing, and the salad bar is fully stocked with everything from chick peas to baby spinach to fresh melon slices. Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and only a quick walk from any classroom, the Danbury Room offers a good choice of exceptionally tasty fare.
