 Karen Koza, DBA Dr. Karen L. Koza is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Ancell School of Business and Co-Director of the Center for Business Research. She holds a DBA from Boston University, and an MBA from Clark University, and is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), the Academy of Marketing Science, and the Institute of International Education (IIE). Dr. Koza has developed and led multiple international student-industry collaborations between SIAS International College Zhengzhou University, China and Western Connecticut State University, and multiple international and domestic student-industry collaborations with nonprofit organizations located in or operating programs within the Greater Danbury Community. She teaches the undergraduate capstone marketing course in Strategic Marketing Planning (MKT490) and the graduate capstone marketing course in Strategic Marketing Management (MKT534). Other courses she teaches include survey marketing courses on the undergraduate level (Principles of Marketing, MKT301) and the graduate level (Marketing Management, MKT509). Her research interests are in the areas of relationship management, as conflict management, communication and information sharing, and performance assessment; supply chain management; digital literacy; strategic marketing planning; and marketing ethics. She has worked on research projects with many major multinational corporations and nonprofits in the areas of her research interests. Further, Dr. Koza has published academic articles on issues involving relationship/supply chain management, digital literacy and ethics, and presented the same at a number of domestic and international conferences. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Retailing, the AMA Educator’s Proceedings, INFORMS, Freie Universitat Berlin Conference Proceedings on Relationship Marketing and Customer Relationship Management, and the CSU Faculty Research Conference Proceedings.
