ALWAYS COMMUNICATE

Your family may not be together if a disaster strikes, so it is important to know which types of disasters could affect your area. Know how you’ll contact one another and reconnect if separated. Establish a family meeting place that’s familiar and easy to find.

Step 1: Collect

Create a paper copy with the attached PDF to ensure all members have the essential contact information for your family.

Step 2: Share

Share the copies of your information with trusted individuals as well as keeping a copy for yourself on your persons - in a backpack, purse, or wallet

Step 3: Practice

Practice communication between your family members and how you would act in an emergency situation.
