Students interested in registering with AccessAbility Services (AAS) to request accommodations should come to the office located in Higgins Annex, Room 017 to fill out an Accommodation Intake Form and to submit supporting medical documentation.
After filling out and submitting an Accommodation Intake Form and providing appropriate medical documentation, the students request for accommodations will be reviewed. Appropriate academic services and accommodations are provided based on a student's functional limitations in the academic setting. Students will receive an email (WCSU email account ONLY) of phone call from the AccessAbility Services Director requesting the student to schedule an intake meeting. Students who do not submit appropriate documentation may be instructed in the email to submit additional documentation. When scheduling an intake meeting, please indicate if you will require any accommodations for the meeting; such as, captioning, interpreting, large print, and/or information about accessible parking.
The Director will guide you in accessing the accommodations for which you are eligible. You will then be responsible for requesting accommodations within the first two weeks of classes each semester and for following AAS' policies and procedures for accessing accommodations.
