IN THEIR SHOES – ROOTS & ROUTES POP-UP GALLERY: Over the past few months, the ACLU of CT and Ben & Jerry’s CT have collected art from local artists around the theme of disrupting the harmful narrative that we’re seeing in the mainstream media around immigrants, refugees, and asylees. We are working in collaboration with WestConn to host a pop-up gallery with an opening event to create a community space that uplifts the art we’ve received, celebrates our collective resilience and joy, and creates a space to engage with the WestConn community and partners.
