Ancient Approaches to Modern Maladies

November 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Free
Ruth Haas Library

ANCIENT APPROACHES TO MODERN MALADIES: Life in 21st century America is challenging and we all strive to be as healthy (in mind/body/spirit) as possible. Ancient non-Western philosophies and approaches to health and wellbeing have served many civilizations and cultures for centuries — and without the use of pharmaceuticals or other expensive treatments. What can we learn from them to address diseases and conditions prevalent in our society today?

Come to the first floor of the Haas Library on the Midtown campus from 1 to 2:30 p.m., to learn from students in Professor Christel Autuori’s Honors class (Ancient Approaches to Modern Maladies). We will share information and practices that can be integrated into our 21st century lives for better health and vitality.

For additional information, please contact Christel Autuori at autuoric@wcsu.edu
