HISPANIC-SERVING BORDERLAND INSTITUTIONS – BEST TEACHING, MENTORING, AND LEARNING PRACTICES: The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is promoting this virtual event from HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities)

Equity at Minority Serving Institutions should strive to provide multiple opportunities and contribute to the mission of student success for underserved populations. New Mexico State University and Dona Ana Community College are implementing innovative interventions to achieve student success in higher education. The focus on mentoring, teaching and learning practices to accomplish student engagement and success and highlight learning what successful practices can be replicated in other similar academic settings and promoting asset-based approaches among departments and programs at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs).
