PRACTICAL GENERATIVE AI WORKSHOP FOR LEARNING, TEACHING, AND RESEARCH: Join us from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Higgins Hall 123 (Emporium Small) on the Midtown campus, or virtually (virtual meeting details will be shared after RSVP) for a hands-on workshop exploring how Generative AI can enhance learning, teaching, and research at WCSU.

This practical session is designed to move beyond hype and focus on real, responsible, and strategic AI use across the university.

Morning Session (10 a.m. – noon)

Open to Faculty, Staff & Students

AI for Academic Success & Productivity
• Smarter prompting strategies
• Using Copilot & ChatGPT effectively
• AI for research, writing & presentations
• Creating images, slides & short videos
• Introduction to agentic workflows

 

Afternoon Session (1 – 4 p.m.)

Faculty & Graduate Students

AI for Teaching & Research Innovation

Teaching:
• AI-aware assignments & rubrics
• Grading support & feedback refinement
• Course workflow automation

Research:
• Literature reviews & synthesis
• Data analysis & grant drafting
• Responsible AI integration
