WALK WITH DANBURY 2025: The WCSU Futures Lab and the Sustainability CT Danbury team will host a free sustainability research event – Walk With Danbury 2025 – on Earth Day, April 22.

We invite all members of the public for a short guided walk around downtown with WCSU students so we can collect your opinions and observations about how to make Danbury a more sustainable city. This fun event is a great way for you to play a role in guiding the city council in making plans for the future of our city. Bring family and friends, wear your walking shoes, and dress to be outside.

When: Tuesday, April 22,  4 -6 p.m. Where: Danbury Museum & Historical Society Parking Lot, 43 Main Street (start of our ‘walk audit’)

Schedule: 4 – 4:30 p.m.: Gathering and orientation to the project and the data we want to collect. 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.: Teams will be guided on a slow walk around downtown and will provide their observations to student researchers. 5:30 – 6 p.m.: Reconvene at the Danbury Museum & History Society for discussion and light refreshments.

Interpretation: Spanish and Portuguese interpretation will be provided for those who need it.
