Alumni Nursing Society Reception

Christina Beaudoin, MSN, APRN, CS, BC
Join fellow nursing grads, nursing faculty and nursing students at a complimentary reception. The 2011 senior nursing class will be presenting their senior projects at this event. Topics for their projects are focused on community issues. Nursing alumni will be voting on the best presentation.
Beaudoin earned her degree from the Jeanne Mance School of Nursing in 1964 and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Josephs College in 1987. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University and her Master’s Degree from WestConn in 1991. She retired from CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, after 33 years of service. Beaudoin was a clinical instructor for the Yale School of Nursing for many years and is currently working per diem at Danbury Hospital. She will discuss Nursing during the Vietnam War. Her speech will describe who nurses were, what their experiences were, and the impact and the legacy of their service.
