What do I do if I missed June Orientation and need to
 register for classes?

If you missed June Orientation but were already accepted by the university, your information packet and class schedule will be sent to you in the mail.  If you are just now being accepted by the university, please make an appointment with the Advisement Center at (203) 837-8397 to register, and then get your ID, parking decal, and computer accounts on your own schedule.  Our offices are open Monday through Friday all summer long.  The computer centers are even open on the weekends and some evenings.  Check the individual web pages for office hours or contact the Admissions Office at 203-837-9000 with questions regarding your status.

What about my parents?

Welcome Week is geared mostly towards students to make them feel welcome and comfortable with their new surroundings. However, there will be activities for parents on Sunday, August 26th, such as the Alumni Legacy Photo (if one or both parents are alumni), the Entering the Gates ceremony, the Opening Ceremony,  and parent workshops.  There is also a dinner for students and families that afternoon.  New students will eat for free, parents will be asked to pay $10; siblings 12 and under pay $6.
