Schedule of Events: New Student Orientation

What to Expect on New Student Orientation 2024 (2025 schedule coming soon!)

Day 1

Check-in between 8 – 9 a.m. in Litchfield Hall (Continental breakfast will be available).
Morning activities include meeting new students and orientation leaders, interactive games and activities, and hearing from university leaders.

Afternoon activities include meeting faculty and staff, learning about your academic programs, touring our beautiful westside campus and learning about athletics, visual and performing arts, and other campus centers. You will also attend a clubs fair, hear all about our student life and activities, and enjoy some evening entertainment.

Evening activities include more fun and games and experiencing residential life.

Day 2

Morning activities include learning about our student support services and other important campus resources.

Afternoon activities include meeting the university advising team, learning how to access your schedules through BannerWeb and learning about recreation and joining in on the fun!

After the closing ceremony, you will be able pick up your student ID, shop in the WCSU bookstore, and visit any other offices you would like to learn more about.

Check-out will be in Litchfield Hall from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

Meals, water, and snacks will be provided throughout the day.

Please park in the Midtown Campus, White Street Garage and follow signs to check-in.
