Dual Enrollment Program

Take Classes on Campus Through Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment allows motivated high school juniors and seniors to experience college life firsthand by taking on-campus courses while still completing their high school diploma. Students may enroll in up to two courses per semester (up to six hours per week), earn official college credit, and receive a university grade upon successful completion.

Dual Enrollment Requirements

To be considered for Dual Enrollment, students must meet the following criteria:

  1. Minimum Junior standing (11th grade) with a class rank in the top half
  2. Letter of recommendation from a school guidance counselor
  3. College preparatory course load
  4. Minimum test scores:
    • SAT: 1100 or higher
    • ACT: 22 or higher
  5. Interview with the Admissions team

The Dual Enrollment Program at WestConn can help you:

  • Save time by completing courses before enrolling into college — meaning more time for extracurriculars and internships
  • Get ahead of your peers by earning college credit before you graduate high school.
