Constitution Day

CONSTITUTION DAY: The Macricostas School of Arts & Sciences and the Voices for Liberty Institute are pleased to welcome Nadine Strossen, former president of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), to WCSU to celebrate Constitution Day. A nationally recognized expert on free speech and civil rights, Strossen is the author of many books, including most recently “The War On Words: 10 Arguments Against Free Speech—And Why They Fail.”

She will discuss current debates about free speech and the history of the American Constitution in conversation with Dr. Howell Williams, Associate Professor of Political Science, followed by a Q&A.

At 2:30 p.m. in the Student Center Theater on the Midtown campus. Refreshments will be served.
