Department: Office of AccessAbility Services
Location: Haas Library 406, Midtown Campus
Description: The Office of AccessAbility Services is seeking student employees to serve as the first point of contact for students and visitors. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting and assisting students with the accommodation process, maintaining confidential files, and organizing material. The student employee will also train students on assistive technology and provide guidance on its use. Additional duties include serving as an exam proctor to help ensure an accessible and supportive testing environment for students with accommodations.
Requirements/Desired: The ideal candidate is a dependable student who is enthusiastic, personable, and confident in communicating with others. Applicants must be responsible, reliable, willing to learn and work, and possess strong organizational skills. Must be able to work on a fixed schedule. Incoming and current students in good academic standing are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor are required.
Hours/Schedule: Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $16.35 / hr.
Payroll Type: Department Payroll & Federal Work Study
