IT Support Guides – Teaching, learning and working remotely and on campus
We wish a warm welcome to our Western Connecticut State University students, faculty and staff as we head into the start of the Fall 2020 semester. Information Technology & Innovation has put together two guides (see below) so that students, faculty and staff can easily find instructions, support and links to the technology that will help you effectively learn, teach and work – both remotely and on campus.
Two powerful capabilities that support remote work are Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams:
- Cisco Jabber delivers instant messaging, voice and video calls, voice messaging, desktop sharing, conferencing, and presence. Find the right people, see whether and how they’re available, and collaborate more effectively.
- Microsoft Teams is the hub for team collaboration in Microsoft 365 that integrates the people, content, and tools your team needs to be more engaged and connected.
