  • Licensure:  Oral Proficiency Exam in Spanish  – The ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) is a standardized procedure for the global assessment of functional speaking ability. The ACTFL OPI is a carefully structured conversation between a trained and certified interviewer and the person whose speaking proficiency is being assessed.

The Student Teaching Evaluation Instrument (STEI). Summative scores represent a collaborative score determined jointly by the cooperating teacher and university supervisor regarding the candidate’s performance level in student teaching. STEI competencies   are aligned with the Connecticut Common Core of Teaching, InTASC standards and the unit’s conceptual framework.
