Major Discoveries Workshop
“Major Discoveries” was first created and offered in Spring 2006 as a pilot ePortfolio-based workshop, intended to assist students in choosing a major; Through Spring 2008, the program is being grant-funded by the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium. Using a workbook, Selecting a College Major: Exploration and Decision-Making, students are invited to self-assess decision-making skills and personality traits, along with personal values and interests, reflecting upon how these characteristics contribute to the choice of a major.
