| Linda Nemergut received
an A.S. in Fine Arts from Housatonic Community College and a B.S. in Applied
Arts from Charter Oak State College.
As an undergraduate, she had paintings accepted in the Society of
Illustrators of Los Angeles “36 Annual Illustrators West” in 1996, and won 3rd
place in the prestigious Strathmore Papers Company “Student Illustration
Competition,” also in 1996.
She has received her MFA in Illustration, the first graduate in this field, held a one-person M.F.A. thesis exhibit January 21-February 17, 2003 at the University in Warner Hall. She continues to produce quality work and is teaching at WAA in Washington, CT. Linda added. "To be an illustrator, I must be able to produce top-notch work."
