Applicants are required to hold a B.A. in Art plus a portfolio review, or a B.A. in another field and demonstrable competency in art, plus a portfolio review. A strong academic record will be required. Acceptance by the art department through portfolio review and interview is mandatory as well as an application to the Division of Graduate Studies. Applicants should submit portfolios via email to cardonskyd@wcsu.edu.
Degree candidates will select an area of emphasis (painting, illustration, or interdisciplinary) and complete a minimum of 60 credits, as listed on the program sheet, under the guidance of his or her mentor/adviser and with approval of the program coordinator.
