Christopher Cullen

Clarinetist Christopher Cullen has performed with the New Jersey Symphony, the American Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the American Ballet Theatre and the New York City Opera Orchestra, to name a few. He was formerly principal clarinetist with the New York City Opera National Company, the Berkshire Opera Orchestra, and was acting principal with the Mississippi Symphony. He currently teaches clarinet at Western Connecticut State University and William Paterson University in New Jersey. Chris is cofounder of the Circadia Chamber Ensemble, and is an active performer of contemporary music. He holds master’s degrees from the New England Conservatory and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
