The card account holder (student, faculty, or staff) or authorized payers can deposit money into a CONNect Cash Account. CONNect Cash is used for both on and off campus expenses. On campus purchases may include: bookstore, food service, vending, box office, and more.  Participating off campus retailers may be found here.  You may also use your CONNect Cash funds to pay for GrubHub anywhere in the nation.

WESTCONNect Card holders can also access their CONNect Cash history, including deposits and payments at accepted locations by using the WESTCONNect WebCard Center.

WHAT IS CONNECT CASH?

CONNect Cash is a discretionary spending program that allows any person with a valid university ID to deposit money on their card for use at a growing list of locations throughout the university and off campus.

CONNect Cash does not expire, and remain valid as long as you are an enrolled student, or active employee. The balance rolls semester to semester, making it easy to manage.

Remember that you can manage your card account online via the WESTCONNect Web Card Center to see your balances, transactions history, and mark your card as lost.

On campus, CONNect Cash can be used at:

    • Einstein Bagels-HAAS Library
    • Danbury Room-Student Center

How do I manage my account?

Using your university computer account username and password, log in to the WESTCONNect WebCard Center.  You may view account balances, review transaction history, report your card as lost, and set-up notifications from the system.

I lost money in a machine.  How do I get a refund?

If you lost CONNECT Cash while using your card at a computer printer, or vending machine, please fill out this form and submit it to the WESTCONNect Office.  If you lost cash, please go to the Cashier’s office for a refund.

I have a question about a transaction made, or want to request a refund from, the bookstore or an on-campus food service location.  What do I do?

Please visit the location and ask to speak with the manager. It is helpful to have your receipt, and/or information about the date, time and purchase details so that they might best assist you.
