WCSU OPERA PRODUCTION - "AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS":
The WCSU Opera will perform the annual holiday classic "Amahl and the Night Visitors" at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall on the university's Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. WCSU HOLIDAY JAZZ CONCERT:
The WCSU Holiday Jazz concert will be at 3 p.m. in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall on the university's Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The program will feature Frankensax, led by Andrew Beals; the WCSU Jazz Ensemble, led by Dave Scott; and the WCSU Jazz Orchestra, led by Jamie Begian. The program will include a mix of jazz classics and holiday music such as "Sleigh Ride" and "Walking in a Winter Wonderland."
