The Department of Art would like to congratulate Sabrina Marques, Assistant Professor of Art, for her new appointment as Director of the Kathwri Honors Program. For the past four years, Sabrina has been a member of the Honors Council and a professor of Honors courses since 2017. The program offers outstanding students a highly interactive and interdisciplinary course of study and is built on the fundamental assumption that knowledge is an open set of questions and ideas to be explored, rather than a closed set of facts to be memorized. There is no doubt that with Sabrina's teaching philosophy, past positions, and artistic projects, she will surely bring a unique and creative perspective to the program.
