THE INTERSECTION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND RENTAL ASSISTANCE PAYMENT STANDARDS: Join us for the next conversation in our Intersectional webinar series via Zoom at 10 a.m.

This session will focus on the intersection of Affordable Housing and the availability of rental homes that meet the payment standards for federal and state rental assistance. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from panelists about the current research work, and data collected on the availability of housing that meets the Fair Market Rent (FMR) and Maximum allowable rent standards used for the federal Section 8 rental assistance program and the state’s rental assistance program.

In a moderated panel led by Dr. Samaila Adelaiye, panelists will explore the realities and challenges associated with finding rental housing, and present preliminary findings with a focus on the Capitol region, Western and South-Central Connecticut.
