Earth Day 2026 with the WCSU Libraries!
EARTH DAY 2026 WITH THE WCSU LIBRARIES: Join us for a full day of events as we celebrate Earth Day 2026 in the Haas Library on the Midtown campus! Events, talks, crafts, activities and the chance to win a pack of four passes to the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium! All events will be held on the first floor of Haas Library.
ALL DAY (10 a.m.- 5 p.m.): Wildflower seed balls, Citizen Science kits, Student Art exhibits, food pantry donations, electronic recycling, seedling kits and more!
Noon – 1 p.m.: GUEST SPEAKER CHRISTINE PALM! Join us in the Ruth Haas Library for a talk on hope in the context of sustainability and the environment from Christine Palm, founder of The Active Voice.
1 – 2 p.m.: STUDENT ROUNTABLE! Following Christine’s talk, stick around for an open discussion on Hope, climate change, and things we can do to make a difference in our changing world.
3 – 5 p.m.: “EARTH’S GREATEST ENEMY” Join us for a showing and discussion of “Earth’s Greatest Enemy,” the second feature film project by Abby Martin, is a groundbreaking anti-imperialist environmental documentary. Learn the environmental cost of having a military Empire …”
