POSTPONED: *AFFILIATED EVENT:  HOLI ON THE GREEN!: Celebrate Holi at the CityCenter Green on Ives St! Holi is a Hindu festival celebrating spring. Enjoy music by DJ AD SaaZ accompanied by a fashion show displaying clothing and accessories from India. In between throwing gulal powder – browse shopping from local vendors. There will be jewelry, clothes, arts, and craft stalls available. Throughout the afternoon experience dance performances that showcase classical dance like Kathak and Bollywood styles.

Gulal, a colorful powder, will be available at stations around the green. Powder is thrown into the air and at one another – be aware you will go home full of color! Remember to wear clothes that can get messy and dress for the weather.

Registration is highly recommended through the Danbury Library’s Website. All ages are welcome!
